Many times I am asked how I am doing. The answer to that question is as varied as the weather. Everyone has their ups and downs. Good times and bad times. No matter what, in the end, our goal is to simply finish the day.
When you look at your fellow man, you often think. That everyone is so different. I wonder what they do when they go home. Do they have the same issues that I have? How did they reach their goals? They seem to be so happy with their lives.
If they have a wealthy lifestyle. I wonder how did they earn their fortune. I imagine them having so much fun enjoying the attention of celebrities. Not a care in the world.
The crazy thing about life is the things we see and the hidden things. They don't match; we seldom show our true colors. These lyrics from George Benson's song This Masquerade are so accurate.

I never really realized how very emotionally equal we all are. I agree that it is good to always set a positive example. It is equally important to share your burdens with a friend. That is what friends are for. Want to be a good friend. Listen with empathy and patience. So many people are waiting for someone who cares. Ultimately, we are all just trying to make it through the day.
